Welcome to Rambur Charolais

Located in Sidney, Montana, founded more than 30 years ago by Howard Rambur. Today, the Ramburs run 250 Charolais cows as well as 100 head of Angus cows. They also offer Angus bulls in addition to their Charolais bull program. The Rambur operation farms about 600 acres of corn and hay each year, and includes an on-site feedlot.

RAMBUR CHAROLAIS BREEDS FOR PROFILE, smooth shoulders for calving ease, sound feet and legs so the animals can travel the country and a good carcass structure. In Montana, Mother Nature brings on tough times from wintering and calving in 40 below winters to droughts and 100 plus days in the summer. In this environment, traits like calving ease, ease of fleshing, fertility and structural soundness have a way of taking care of themselves. If cattle don't possess those traits, they are not on the ranch. Their females are bred to be tough.
